When I first met Ashley and Pritom the first thing I noticed was how well they worked together and how considerate they were of each other and their families. Normally I would think that is great and move on but this time after meeting with this couple and hearing about their plans I realized what a unique wedding this was going to be. Ashley and Pritom were going to do two ceremonies in one day! That is right….TWO ceremonies! One an Indian ceremony and one a Christian ceremony. I just loved hearing how two families and cultures would come together for a day of complete joy and celebration of love. They had so many people in their family involved in their wedding. They were going to have their bridal party and parents and family members involved in saying vows and singing, it all sounded so unique! They were so easy going throughout the process and so grateful but yet so organized and respectful of me having a baby 3 days before their wedding!!! They had a bomb planner who they trusted to take care of everything for them.
Ashley and Pritom got married on June 2, 2018, at Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard. Their two ceremonies were absolutely beautiful in every way. The best thing was they literally had to wear two different sets of wedding clothes which I would imagine would be exhausting and overwhelming but they pulled it off flawlessly! They had to take two sets of outside wedding pictures and their ceremonies together probably lasted an hour plus. It was raining (which I hear is good luck on your wedding day) but they still were so giving and selfless to everyone there. During the Indian ceremony, it is actually cultural for the groom to come down the aisle with basically all of the guests instead of by himself. It is the coolest thing ever!
During the reception, I do not remember seeing Ashley or Pritom sitting down by themselves. They were always walking around taking the time to talk to everyone, hug everyone, and take pictures with anyone and everyone! They really are a special couple. Just being around them you can feel the love! Thank you, Ashley and Pritom for letting me be a part of your special day! I had a blast being your DJ!
