Jay and Ryan said I do at Star of the Sea Catholic Church, then headed over to the amazing Aria Beach House! I LOVED being the DJ at this wedding for this fun and sweet couple and their friends and family. It was so wonderful to see how happy Ryan and Jay looked throughout the entire ceremony and at their reception! My wife Shina brought my son in at the end of the night when we were packing up and Ryan held and played with him for like 30 minutes, it was so sweet of her to do that!
The first time I met with Jay and Ryan it was an absolute joy! We had so much fun talking about their wedding. There were so many great vendor connections that were going to be at their wedding. The wedding planner, Maria, and the groom used to work together years ago, that is why they chose Maria's business, Everly After Events, for their wedding. I had worked two weddings with her a few months prior to this couple's wedding, so I was overly excited because as a DJ I knew how they worked and I reassured the couple that they were in great hands. I felt so confident that Maria and Emily were going to give me absolute thorough information for me to be prepared for this wedding.
I was so excited about that...then when I arrived to the wedding Emily and I worked flawlessly together because we knew how each other operated and we were able to be on point in helping each other and making sure that everything was on schedule. DJ West Entertainment and Emily of Everly After Events talked frequently in respect to the timeline to make Jay and Ryan's wedding just perfect! The two photographers Kristina and Adonika with Elizabeth Henson Photographer were so awesome....they were the best and most fun photographers EVER and they are led by the best team leader ever. The thing I liked most about Kristina is she laughs and has fun with her couples. Even when I was tired and discouraged during the dance party, Adonika got out there and lead the Wobble for the guests!
My favorite moment of Jay and Ryan's wedding was when they did the bouquet toss and it got stuck on the fan and one of the girls was put on the shoulders of someone and had to retrieve the bouquet!
