Filipino weddings are an impressive fusion of modern and historic customs. Traditionally, these cultural weddings are a celebration of two families coming together rather than just two individuals. I found this to be true with Sam and Cheryl's wedding. They had all the right people in place and entrusted them to do a great job with their wedding. Everyone was so thorough, detail oriented, and unified in everything they did! They had amazing communication even though they both were so busy and lived in another state than where they were getting married.
My favorite part of their wedding was the money dance! This tradition is a fun one that many cultures choose to include during their reception. I asked the men and women to line up in separate lines, grab a pin and wait their turn to dance with the bride and/or groom. The money received during the dances is perceived as a sign of good fortune, while also financial assistance as they begin their journey as husband and wife. I think every bride and groom should do this!

Our favorite part of working with Westley and his crew was how personable they were - both with us - his clients - and our guests. I can’t stress this point enough. We had numerous guests approach us during the reception with countless praises of how incredible our DJ was. It seems none of our guests have attended a wedding where the DJ was so interactive with the crowd - from hyping up the crowd during the grand entrance, commanding the attention of the guests during the formal wedding events, and engaging/participating with the CONSTANTLY packed dance floor. If you are ever hosting an event that requires a DJ, and are looking for someone that makes you feel at ease throughout the entire process, DJ West and his crew is the perfect match."
